Walk for a Cure - Birmingham

I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure

I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure because I want to help end the devastation of dementia.

Alzheimer's Research UK is the UK's leading dementia research charity, dedicated to finding a cure.

Research is our only chance of stopping dementia in its tracks and offering hope to the many families affected.

Your donation will fuel cutting-edge research that could uncover new life-changing treatments, bringing us closer to a cure.

Thank you for your support.

My Updates

Every step is for someone we love

Sunday 4th May

Some of us walk with heavy hearts. Some walk with quiet hope. Some walk because they’ve lost, and others because they still believe.

Walk for a Cure is more than just a path we follow—it's a journey filled with memories, names, faces, and stories. It's for the mother who fought with everything she had. The child who smiled through the pain. The friend who never gave up. It’s for the moments we shared, and the ones we still pray for.

When we walk, we carry them with us. We remember their laughter, their courage, and the love that never fades. Each step is a tribute. Each mile is a promise: we will not stop until there is a cure.

This isn’t just a walk—it’s a movement of hearts. It's the silence before the sun rises, the tears that fall without warning, the hugs between strangers who understand your pain without needing to ask. It's community. It's healing. It's hope.

So, we walk.

For the ones we miss.
For the ones still fighting.
For the cure we believe is coming.
