Peaking at 42k - walking to outpace Alzheimer's!
This year the Travel Retail Consortium has chosen Alzheimers Research UK as its charity and many of us are taking part in two Walk For a Cure events in September. I am doing both: 42k (eek) in the Peak District on September 13 and 21k in the Cotswolds on September 20. It would be fabulous if you could support me - every little helps!
Alzheimer's Research UK is the UK's leading dementia research charity, dedicated to finding a cure. Research is the only chance of stopping dementia in its tracks and offering hope to the many families affected.
Your donation will fuel cutting-edge research that could uncover new life-changing treatments, bringing us closer to a cure.
Donations will all go directly to the charity and whatever I raise will be put into the TRC's total fund raising pot. For the Peak District walk I will be joined by my daughter Kat and her partner Ally and together we are the Unidentified Flying Walkers team...they will also be raising money individually.
