Hike for a Cure - Peak District

I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure

I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure because I want to help end the devastation of dementia.

Alzheimer's Research UK is the UK's leading dementia research charity, dedicated to finding a cure.

Research is our only chance of stopping dementia in its tracks and offering hope to the many families affected.

Your donation will fuel cutting-edge research that could uncover new life-changing treatments, bringing us closer to a cure.

Thank you for your support.

My Updates

Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters,

Tuesday 9th Dec

I am proud to share that on 12th September 2026, I will be taking part in a 42km Alzheimer’s Walk to raise funds and awareness for those living with dementia.

This cause is incredibly close to my heart. I am walking for the past, present, and future residents of Beech Court Care Home—for the stories they’ve lived, the memories they hold, and the dignity and joy they deserve every single day.

Every step of this 42km challenge represents:

  • Respect for those who have lived with dementia

  • Support for those currently on their journey

  • Hope for future generations and better care, research, and understanding

Alzheimer’s affects not only individuals but their families, carers, and communities. By supporting this walk, you are helping to fund vital services, research, memory support, and improved quality of life for people living with dementia.

How You Can Help

I would be incredibly grateful for any support you can give—big or small. Your donation will directly contribute to improving dementia care and supporting those whose lives are touched by this condition.
