The TRC are taking part in Walk For A Cure
This year the Travel Retail Consortium (TRC) is proud to support Alzheimer’s Research UK as its official charity and raise vital funds by taking part in two ‘Walk for a Cure’ events in September. TRC members, their families/friends and (hopefully) others from our wonderful GTR family will be walking their socks off on September 13 in the stunning Peak District and/or September 20 in the picturesque Cotswolds.
Will you help the TRC? We have an ambitious target of £18,000 but know how generous the travel retail industry can be – so please do dig deep.
Every individual taking part is raising vital funds through donations and all monies will show here on this page. You can also donate here to the ‘collective’.
Sharon Edwards-Smith, Chairperson at the Travel Retail Consortium, said:

If nothing changes, one in two of us will be directly affected by dementia – either by caring for someone with the condition, developing it ourselves, or both. We believe it is crucial that we come together as an industry to help fund vital research to change this. These walks offer a fantastic opportunity to unite, raise awareness, and contribute to this life-changing cause.
