I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure
My beautiful Nana passed away on Tuesday 3rd February 2026, after suffering with Alzheimer’s and Vascular Dementia for nearly 5 years.
I’m taking part in ‘Walk For A Cure’ because I want to help end the devastation of dementia, and support the people living with and supporting the people living with, as I know firsthand how difficult this can be.
Alzheimer's Research UK is the UK's leading dementia research charity, dedicated to finding a cure. Research is our only chance of stopping dementia, and offering hope to the many families affected.
Donations will help fund much needed research which can uncover life changing treatments to support those with dementia and hopefully bring us one step closer to finding a cure for this horrible disease.
In memory of Nan, I would like to take part in ‘Walk for a Cure’ in hopes of participating towards finding a cure for this disease so others, nor their loved ones, have to be affected by this disease.
