Every Step for Him: 13km Through the Peak District in Memory of My Grandad

My grandad meant the world to me, and losing him to dementia has been one of the hardest things my family and I have faced. Watching someone you love slowly fade, while still holding on to the memories of who they once were, is something I will never forget. In his memory, I will be taking on a 13km hike through  the Peak District. Every step filled with love, grief, and remembrance. 

This isn’t just a walk, it’s a way of honouring him and standing up to a condition that takes so much from so many families. If you’re able to support, it would mean so much, not just to me, but in helping others facing the same heartbreaking journey.
