Alzheimer's Research UK is the UK's leading dementia research charity, dedicated to finding a cure.

Research is our only chance of stopping dementia in its tracks and offering hope to the many families affected.

A big thank you to all my amazing friends who have donated. 
This means so much to us as a family as we walk for, not just our mom, but for all who have been and are still being impacted by this horrendous illness xxx

In Memory of my Beautiful Mom

Monday 21st Apr
My mom was my first best friend, my guide and inspiration. She had a wonderful zest for life, always on the dance floor first and last off. Mom was diagnosed with late onset Alzheimer’s in 2020. It was during lockdown that mom went downhill quickly, but she always remembered my name and loved to hug. 
Our last holidays included Weymouth and Scotland, the latter place we fed a wild deer. 
In the final weeks I will always remember when I wished my mom a good morning and her reply was good morning sweetheart. 
She fought so bravely in her final weeks and passed peacefully on 8th February 2024.  A piece of my heart broke that night and will never heal. I know mom is always with me. 
I love you lots and lots mom, more than jelly tots xx
