Why I am fundraising for Alzheimer's Research.

Thursday 9th May
My mum Christine was diagnosed with dementia several years ago and since then I have lost more and more of the mother I love with every month that goes by. There is so much potential in Alzheimer's research to really find a cure, to help others and prevent this impacting so many millions of people in the future. It is too late for my mum but I know she would want me to get out there and walk for scientific research which she always supported and believed in. I hope you will support my and my daughter's 5K walk around Hoylrood Park and Arthur's Seat with thousands of others, for Alzheimer's Research. For my mum and for Maggie's Grandma. x
