For my aunt and a future without Alzheimer’s
Thursday 7th MayWatching my aunt struggle with Alzheimer’s was a painful experience. Day by day, we saw the impact it had on her life over the years she had to live with it and watched as she continued to deteriorate until she later passed on in January 2023. Since she passed away I have often wondered if a cure would ever be found to spare other families from this same pain, the pain of losing a loved one while they’re still physically there with you, the pain of knowing there is nothing out there to cure them.
By participating in this walk, I’m helping Alzheimer’s Research Uk bring my wish to life. By donating, you are helping them continue the vital work they do to find answers and provide support for those living with dementia and/or those who have been affected by it.
