My Updates
My reason
Sunday 26th AprThere are moments in life that quietly reshape you—moments that don’t always arrive with noise or drama, but instead settle in slowly, changing how you see the world and the people you love. For me, Alzheimer’s has hit our family for numerous years now.
I am doing this walk not just as a physical challenge, but as something far more personal. Alzheimer’s is a disease that takes, piece by piece, the memories and identity of someone I love and care about. It doesn’t just affect the individual diagnosed; it ripples outward, touching families, friendships, and entire communities. Watching that process unfold is something you never fully prepare for.
This walk is my way of pushing back against that feeling of helplessness.
Because in the end, this is about more than a walk.
It’s about holding on to what matters, for as long as we can.
