A note from Morgan x

I’m taking part in this sponsored walk to raise money for Alzheimer’s research and support in loving memory of my grandad, who sadly passed away after living with dementia.

Although my grandad didn’t have Alzheimer’s disease specifically, dementia changed his life and had a profound impact on our whole family. Alzheimer’s is the most common cause of dementia, and the work being done to fund research, improve care, and support families helps countless people and families affected by these devastating conditions.

I’m doing this walk to honour my grandad’s memory and to help create a future where fewer families have to experience the heartbreak of dementia. He was an amazing grandad, and I’ll be thinking of him every step of the way.
