I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure

I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure because I want to help end the devastation of dementia.

Alzheimer's Research UK is the UK's leading dementia research charity, dedicated to finding a cure.

Research is our only chance of stopping dementia in its tracks and offering hope to the many families affected.

Your donation will fuel cutting-edge research that could uncover new life-changing treatments, bringing us closer to a cure.

Thank you for your support.

Walking with Purpose: A Step Toward an Alzheimer’s Cure

Tuesday 6th May

Hi, my name is Mina, and I’m taking part in the Walk for a Cure for Alzheimer’s. I’ve worked closely with individuals living with dementia and their families, and I’ve seen how devastating this disease can be—not just for the person affected, but for everyone around them. It slowly takes away memories, independence, and connection, and it’s something no one should have to face alone. That’s why I’m walking: to raise funds for research that brings us closer to a cure. I genuinely enjoy walking, so being able to do something I enjoy  while supporting a cause that matters so much is incredibly meaningful. Every little bit helps, and I’m truly grateful for any support you can give—whether it’s a donation, sharing the message, or simply cheering us on. Together, we can make a difference.
