My story
Sunday 16th JunI became a carer as l've always loved helping people in any way I can and I thought this job would be perfect for me and so rewarding.
One person I worked with left a great impression on me and Changed my outlook on life.
They would tell me stories that they can remember and they would be so excited to relive some of their memories that the had. I would sit and listen every night even if we hade the same conversation
over and over again.
I would get home every night exhausted but I would wake up and do it all over again because I didn't realise it then but needed those
conversation more than they did.
So in honor of them and everyone who struggles with Alzheimer's I would like to raise money and awareness by completing a walk for cure.
