I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure
I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure because my dad was taken from this earth last year by the devastating effects of alzheimers. I lost my dad years before we actually lost my dad during his long 6 year battle seeing his decline was heartbreaking for the family to see him suffering. Every 3 minutes dementia steals a happily ever after. Research is our only chance of changing the ending for people affected by dementia and protecting families from losing there loved ones in such a heartbreaking way.
