We're taking part in Walk For A Cure

This cruel disease has taken parts of my grandad we will never get back. The strong independent man he once was is no longer there. Medication helps slightly but he will never be the man he once was and it absolutely breaks my heart. Luckily, his long term memory has not yet been affected and he often tells me stories about his youth and the smile he gives when telling these stories is so genuine and so care free - I love it! His short term memory however has taken a bashing, simple things such as remember what he had for dinner or if he had taken his medication, and most recently he is unable to remember his youngest great granddaughters name, this frustrates him so much, and it's horrible to witness him torment himself because he can't remember. 

WE NEED A CURE! 

This is for you Grandad x
