I'm taking part in my first, Walk For A Cure

I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure to raise awareness about Alzheimer's and to raise as much as possible to make a difference towards vital research. 

At present, approximately 982,000 people are living with dementia in the UK. This is estimated to increase to 1.4 million people by the year 2040. What we do now, could bring these numbers down significantly and make a difference for the better.

Alzheimer's Research UK is the UK's leading dementia research charity, dedicated to finding a cure. Research is the only chance of stopping dementia in its tracks and offering hope to the many families affected. 

Working with the older community, I see on a daily basis the struggles faced and just how vital it is to continue the conversation.

Can you help make a difference? Any little bit can go such a long way.
