Hike for a Cure - Cotswolds

I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure

I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure because I want to help end the devastation of dementia- something that has affected my family for decades.  I am raising money to find a cure after my dad's diagnosis of early onset Alzheimer's, which has now progressed to the point he is in care at age 65. Prior to this, my nan passed away having had Alzheimers and Dementia.

Alzheimer's Research UK is the UK's leading dementia research charity, dedicated to finding a cure.

Research is our only chance of stopping dementia in its tracks and offering hope to the many families affected.

Your donation will fuel cutting-edge research that could uncover new life-changing treatments, bringing us closer to a cure.

Thank you for your support.

Fundraising for Alzheimer's

Thursday 10th Apr
This will be a fourth fundraiser for Alzheimer's, following our Christmas cake sale in 2021, London half marathon trek in January 2022, and Trek 26 in the Lake District in June 2022, all for the Alzheimer's Society. We decided to walk for Alzheimer's Research this time round to get that bit closer to finding a cure.
