I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure
I'm taking part in this walk with my most treasured friend in mind, my nan. As most people close to me will know, my nan has a diagnosis of Alzheimer's and Vascular Dementia, something they refer to as Mixed Dementia. It's a torturous disease that has brought, and continues to bring so much devastation to my Nan's life and to us as a family. A journey I know so many people can relate to.
I know if my nan was in a position to, she'd want to do what she could to contribute to raising money for Alzheimer's research. Research is our only chance of changing the ending for people affected by dementia.
Alzheimer's Research UK are the UK's leading dementia research charity. They exist for a cure.
Your donation helps scientists and researchers find new ways to diagnose dementia, develop new treatments and find a cure for dementia.
