We're taking part in Walk For A Cure
In memory of our beloved Mum, Mother-in-Law, Nan, Great-Grandmother and dear friend Doreen Bowen, and also in memory of Nicky Bowen, her son, who sadly lost his fight to the disease at the young age of 64 - we as a family we are taking part in Walk For A Cure (even the kids!)
Sarah, Joey, Georgina, Pete, Katelyn, Brooke and little Harley will be doing this walk, in their memory, raising all we can to help the fight against this devastating disease.
Every 3 minutes dementia steals a happily ever after. Research is our only chance of changing the ending for people affected by dementia.
It robbed Doreen and Nicky of themselves in the final years, and eventually robbing us of a family in a way we wouldn't ever wish on anybody else.
Alzheimer's Research UK are the UK's leading dementia research charity. They exist for a cure.
We kindly ask for any donation to help us and thousands others in finding a cure and helping families keep their beloved family members for longer, mentally and physically.
