We're taking part in Walk For A Cure
During Covid lockdowns our Dad/Dad2/ Grancha got very poorly and not through Covid but the depression, anxiety, isolation, paranoia, loneliness turned out to be dementia. Our great health service and our gold dust carers have been amazing but the journey has been so, so tough for him and all who love him more than he ever would have liked. If we can raise any money to make this difficult journey easier and happier for others then it’s a bonus as the most important lesson he taught me was “You’ve got to laugh!”
We're taking part in Walk For A Cure because every 3 minutes dementia steals a happily ever after. Research is our only chance of changing the ending for people affected by dementia.
