Friday 31st May
I’m taking part in this walk in memory of my neighbour but most importantly my friend, Muriel. A year on since dementia cruelly took her away from us, she is still in my thoughts everyday. She was a fierce, independent woman who always had a smile on her face and always had something to laugh about. I’m proud of her determination to stay positive until the very end, despite this cruel illness trying to take that all away. Nobody should have to watch a loved one go through this, and that’s why I’m walking for a cure
