I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure
Before I became a paediatric nurse, I worked and volunteered in care homes and hospitals supporting adults living with dementia. Those experiences left a lasting impact on me. I witnessed firsthand the courage, confusion, and emotional toll this disease brings, not just to individuals, but to their families too.
That’s why I’m taking on this 21 km hike around the beautiful Carsington Water in the Peak District. Every step is for the millions affected by Alzheimer’s.
Alzheimer's Research UK is the UK's leading dementia research charity, dedicated to finding a cure.
Research is our only chance of stopping dementia in its tracks and offering hope to the many families affected.
Your donation will fuel cutting-edge research that could uncover new life-changing treatments, bringing us closer to a cure.
Thank you for your support.

So proud of you! 🩷🩷🩷
