Walk for a Cure Sherwood Pines

I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure

I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure because every 3 minutes dementia steals a happily ever after. Research is our only chance of changing the ending for people affected by dementia.

My grandad Keith who we sadly lost last year to devastating Alzheimer’s after a 6 year battle was my hero both before and throughout his progression of the disease. I walk with pride in his honour and with hope that Alzheimer’s UK can lead the incredible research for a cure so that in the future no family goes through what many do including what ours did.

Alzheimer's Research UK are the UK's leading dementia research charity. They exist for a cure.

Your donation helps scientists and researchers find new ways to diagnose dementia, develop new treatments and find a cure for dementia.
