Our family have decided to take part in the Walk for a Cure at Sherwood Pines Sunday 14th July 2024. Our team is 'The Robins' 🐦
Dementia is something that we all hold so close to our hearts. Like many other families, we have unfortunately lost family members to dementia or have family members still fighting a strong battle with their loved ones by their side.
As I have experienced myself and been told, when you lose someone to dementia, you lose them twice and I have never heard anything more true. Hopefully one day, this is something no one will have to go through.
So in honour of Pauline Broomhead and loving memory of our beautiful family members John Etches, Michael Broomhead, Anne Sleight and Susan Greensmith, we are going to try and fundraise as much money as possible for treatments and research to help us find a cure.
Every 3 minutes dementia steals a happily ever after. Research is our only chance of changing the ending for people affected by dementia.
Alzheimer's Research UK are the UK's leading dementia research charity. They exist for a cure.
Your donation helps scientists and researchers find new ways to diagnose dementia, develop new treatments and find a cure for dementia.
