Why We’re Walking…
We are Walking 34km for a Cure on Saturday 20th September to raise funds for Alzheimer’s research. It’s a debilitating cruel disease and our much-loved Mum/Granny is on the start of this journey. We can’t do anything to prevent this for Mum and we’re apprehensive about the journey ahead, but want to do something useful. We’ve found this event to help raise funds towards researching a cure and any support you can give us, we’ll be extremely grateful for 🙏❤️xxWe're taking part in Walk For A Cure
We're taking part in Walk For A Cure because every 3 minutes dementia steals a happily ever after. Research is our only chance of changing the ending for people affected by dementia.
Alzheimer's Research UK are the UK's leading dementia research charity. They exist for a cure.
Your donation helps scientists and researchers find new ways to diagnose dementia, develop new treatments and find a cure for dementia.
So far, Miles for Minds have helped fund 13 hours of essential lab time for our amazing scientists
