I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure

In March 2020, Mark was diagnosed with Alzheimers, aged 53 following lots of assessments over the previous 3 years. Mark took part in a research programme, involving a lumbar puncture, which led to his diagnosis. Since that date, Mark has been involved in numerous research project based at Sheffield University, appearing on BBC Morning Live following his involvement with the creation of Cognospeak.

I mustn't forget to mention our amazing and much loved mum, who we lost to Dementia in October 2021. 

Please, please help us to find a cure for this horrendous disease.

I'm taking part in Walk For A Cure because every 3 minutes dementia steals a happily ever after. Research is our only chance of changing the ending for people affected by dementia.

Why I am supporting Alzheimers research

Mark took part in a research programme, this involved a lumbar puncture, this gave Mark his diagnosis. Mark continues to take part in valuable research at Sheffield University and has appeared on BBC Morning Live following his involvement with Cognospeak research.
