Aim to raise £150 or more and make a vital difference in helping us find a cure for dementia for all future generations.

Route

Immerse yourself in the ancient woodland with this magnificent 5k loop. The stunning walk will begin at The Arena and guide you along this wonderful natural trail. The beautiful trees will provide you a shaded route to the finish line where you can claim your very well-deserved medal.

Accessibility

The fully signposted route is on gravel paths within the forest and is accessible for both wheelchairs and pushchairs with assistance. It is mostly flat with some gentle inclines. There will be volunteer marshals along the route and rest stops to support you if needed.

Dogs are welcome but must remain on a lead at all times.

There are public toilets available close to the event village (including accessible loos) and rest-stops along the walk to support you if needed.

Food and drink will be available to purchase within the event village and you are welcome to bring your own refreshments.

Countdown to our Sherwood Pines event

“I couldn’t recommend this walk enough for families young and old! We chatted, played with the kids and enjoyed being out in the fresh air for a change. It’s one of the easiest ways to give back to yourself, your mental health and your physical wellbeing.”

– Hat Hewitt, walked in memory of her mum who had dementia.
