I’m taking part in Walk For A Cure

The picture you see is my beautiful nana Vera, who was taken by this terrible disease. 
Vera was vivacious, fiercely loyal to her family and loved her grandchildren immensely. The hole she has left in my heart will never be replaced. She was a warrior, someone I know me and my sisters consider a role model. I miss her wee Scottish accent, the way she smelt, her delicious baking, her hugs, I miss her. 

I want to do this walk to raise funds to help research into a cure. I hope one day no one else will need to feel the heartbreak of someone you love so much forgetting who you are, who they are and watching this awful disease take over their mind, body and soul.
